Perth’s Family Friendly Easter Events for 2019

If you were thinking about heading away at the last minute for a camping trip over the long weekend, you may want to think again…

According to the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions the majority of State-run facilities are booked out. Missing out on camping over Easter isn’t the end of the world when there’s heaps of wonderful family friendly events planned all over Perth to keep you well and truly entertained.

Become an Egg-Spert at Perth Zoo

The kids will have a ball following the interactive trail to match the eggs with their parents and let them get creative in the Wild Zone, using egg cartons and help make papier-mâché eggs to hide Easter treats in for the animals. You might even have the opportunity to get up-close and meet one of Perth Zoo’s resident egg-laying reptiles.

Perth Zoo has arranged fantastic activities for kids of all ages, not just during the Easter long weekend but to enjoy all throughout the school holidays.

Check out Perth Zoo’s website to view the timetable of what’s happening and when.

Let loose at Adventure World

There’s less than two weeks to go before the AW season ends! Although Autumn has well and truly settled in this week, the temperature forecasts from Sunday are looking up with a max of 23°C anticipated for Monday. Still a little chilly for waterslides? Don’t forget there’s plenty of heart-stopping rides to enjoy where you don’t have to worry about getting wet.

The kids will have a chance to win prizes when they join in on the Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday. There will be a visits from Dragon’s Kingdom’s own Yarli, Yarlotte and Flossy too.

Adventure World is open all Easter weekend including Good Friday.

The 2019 Fremantle International Street Arts Festival is here!

Did you know the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival started as a celebration of Fremantle’s local busking culture in 1999 and has grown into a showcase of the world’s best street theatre?

Over the Easter long weekend, the streets of Fremantle will be transformed into an open-air theatre of the amazing, weird and wacky, while Fremantle’s famous alfresco dining steps up a notch, with pop-up bars and eateries extending into the streets.

And there’s Easter Egg Hunts Galore!
